What you need to build
Combine the higher-order sequence, string, closure, and multiple-value tools taught before Expert. The task does not require objects, generics, modules, or continuations, which appear in later patterns.
Define expert-report with these inputs:
| Argument | JIK type | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
items | vector of integers | A bounded vector that must not be modified. |
text | string | Text to convert to uppercase and measure. |
Expected result
Return [sum reversed-doubles uppercase-text item-count text-length]. Double every item, reverse that new vector, and leave the supplied vector unchanged. Empty inputs return [0 [] "" 0 0].
Python-like pseudocode
def expert_report(items, text):
total = sum(items)
reversed_doubles = reverse([item * 2 for item in items])
uppercase_text = text.upper()
return [total, reversed_doubles, uppercase_text, len(items), len(text)]
# In JIK, use values/call-with-values to carry the three intermediate results.
# Do not mutate items.The private suite checks returned values in 3 cases. Private inputs and expected values are never sent to the browser. Covered language features are recommended implementation tools; the evaluator does not inspect source structure.
